Summary: Projects frequently demand that pipes are cut to size prior to installation using a cutter grinder. This often causes inaccurate cuts and sharp edges that can result in leaks and damage to seals. The subsequent chamfering of the pipe end involves extensive work and is time consuming. It also creates a safety hazard.

The company Funke Kunststoffe now offers a solution with its new development of an HS pipe cutting and chamfering machine. It comprises an angle grinder with a specially designed blade. The special feature of this machine is that the pipe is cut and chamfered in one working step. The angle grinder is rigidly connected to a galvanized frame.
