Summary:The beginning of the World Cup 2006 also marks the completion of the Mercedes-Benz World. Covering an area of around 53,000 m_ across from the main gates of the Daimler-Chrysler plant in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, it now completes the Mercedes-Straße in the South-East along which, running from North-West to South-East, the Cannstatter Wasen, the Martin-Schleyer-Halle, the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion and the grounds of the VFB Stuttgart football club are located.
